Some words are confusing. They can be used as conjunctions or prepositions. Here are a few common words that can be used as either part of speech:
? after, before, for, until.
How do we know whether they are conjunctions or prepositions? Usually by how the word is used in a sentence. If that doesn?t help, we can find the word in a thesaurus or in a dictionary.
