A sentence is a group of words that makes complete sense. Every book you read is made up of paragraphs, pages, and chapters of sentences.
Sentences are made from the eight parts of speech. We can write a sentence with all eight parts of speech or with just two. A sentence must have a subject and a predicate. Here is a simple rule to remember when building a sentence:
Subject + Predicate = Sentence
The subject is who or what the sentence is about.
The predicate is what the subject does.
