Summary
This lesson serves to reinforce the knowledge of the former and teach number sequencing, number recognition and one to one matching to the latter. Activity A provides an exercise in number recognition and matching and Activity B is a sequencing exercise.
Objectives
• The children will be able to place numbers in the correct sequence.

The children will be able to identify numbers 1 ? 9.

The children will be able to match objects to numbers.

Can you count to 10? to twenty? If you had time you could count up to a hundred, or a thousand, or a million, or a billion, or even a trillion. That is a very BIG number with lots of noughts. It looks like this: 1,000,000,000,000. We hardly ever need to use a number that big!
