A Sentence is a group of words that makes complete sense. Sentences always begin with a capital letter.
How do sentences end? They always end with a punctuation mark. There are three common kinds of punctuation marks:
? a period;
? a question mark;
? an exclamation point.
The punctuation mark we use to end a sentence depends on what kind of sentence we are writing. Telling sentences always end with a period. Telling sentences are also called statements.
