Human Beings have been studying the night sky for thousands of years. Without electricity and television, the broad night sky was the fun thing to watch. Our ancient ancestors could see the sky much better back then, too. They didn?t have the electric lights of millions of cities and towns dimming the stars, or tall buildings blocking their immediate view. Whenever they were outside of a shelter at night, they witnessed an extremely vast twinkling sky illuminated with millions of celestial objects. The night sky was a big attraction!
