Excerpt
Warren Harding was born in a small town named Blooming Grove, Ohio on November 2, 1865, the oldest of eight children. Both of his parents were doctors, an unusual circumstance in 1865. College was not as formal as it is today; Harding entered Ohio Central College at age fourteen and graduated in 1882 at the age of seventeen.
