A conjunction is a joining word. It joins words, phrases or clauses together.
A preposition is a word or group of words that connects a noun or pronoun to other words in a sentence. Prepositions can tell us four things:
1. location
2. direction
3. time
4. relationship
Prepositions begin a prepositional phrase and they have an object.
