Excerpt
Wyoming is located in the western United States, one of the first states far enough west to be considered part of The West. To the east of Wyoming are South Dakota and Nebraska; to the south are Colorado and Utah; to the west are Utah and Idaho; and Montana lies north of Wyoming and forms the border of the northwest corner of the state. Wyoming is home to the oldest national park in the world. Yellowstone National Park was established in 1872 and continues to attract between two and three million visitors each year.
