Verbs are action words that tell us what someone or something is doing.
? We use present tense verbs to tell us about now;
? We use past tense verbs to tell us about an action that happened in the past.
? We use future tense verbs to tell about an action that will happen in the future.
A good way to recognize a future tense verb is to look for its helping word. Future tense verbs use the helping word will. This helping word always comes right before the verb. Look at these sentences:
